The third Annual General Meeting of SATiBA was held on 5 October during the 2017 Conference at the Leriba Hotel & Spa in Clubview, Centurion. In his Chariman’s report, Prof Michael Pepper encouraged members to place the focus of 2018 on the drafting of tissue banking standards for the various disciplines as well as other important legislative matters. The new board of directors were confirmed and the Organ Donor Foundation was welcomed as a new Associate Member to the SATiBA family.
